THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'/'ASK ME WHY'

Here are two UK early 1963 2nd pressing variants of their 2nd UK single release on the back & silver Parlophone label.

45-R4983

Stamper codes: 2/HM & 4/HG

A single letter 'P' purchase tax code is in the centre of the 'A' side label, with 'MPT' in both run-outs.

R4983

Stamper codes: 1/GPA & 1/GGT

The 'MPT' purchase tax code is in both run-outs only.

Both discs have the same matrices: 7XCE 17217-1N & 7XCE 17218-1N

Each is housed within its original green & white Parlophone company cover.

CONDITION

Discs: EXCELLENT

Both discs have been little played and all playing surfaces are clean, glossy & unworn. Nothing beats this original hit 45 mix which is different to that on the LP.

Sleeves: EXCELLENT

Both are clean & flat with a letter 'P' written on one and the title and group on the other.
