Description

Beatles. 'Please Please Me.' Black Gold. UK Mono. Rarest Transitionary Pressing. Hardly ever seen!!!!

Not listed in the Rare Record Price Guide!!! This lists either full 'Northern Song' credits or 'Dick James' ones for the relevant songs!!! This pressing is firmly in between.

Instead of full Northern Song or Dick James credits as outlined in the Rare Record Price Guide, this LP has Northern Songs credits on Side 1 just for 'I Saw her Standing There' and 'Misery'. Dick James credits are used for the rest of the relevant songs including crucially 'Please Please Me' and 'Do You Want To Know A Secret' and 'There's a Place.' (see label pix)

This rare record also has its original Angus McBean cover with 'P' of Photo aligned with blue second 's' of 'songs'.

Vinyl: Lots of sheen and shine still. No heavy marks. Numerous surface marks and hairlines when held up to the light. Grade EX-.

Cover: Original Angus McBean right aligned, but not in great condition as most of these E J Days were. Tear at bottom (see pix). Nice spine however and decent front cover. However, this can always be replaced by a later cover version, which are plentiful, and if the winning buyer wishes I can swap the original for a better later one.

Inner: Emitex inner.

Mother/stamper codes: 1GP/ 1/2GH

Questions welcome.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AS A RESULT OF BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST, I NO LONGER POST TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
