Japan Tour Only Apple Early Press LP

Apple AP-8675

Appendices: "Red-OBI", "Laminated G/F Cover", "Inner-Bag" & "8 Page Flaps ( attached inside gate-fold )"

( INSERT is not originally issued for this item )

Description: This is Apple Early Pressing copy ( released in early 1970's ) of Japan only-album "Please Please Me" ( originally issued in 1966 to commemorate their Japan tour ). Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead 8 page colorful flaps are attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". It's hard to find this copy with red-obi even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

SideA: Please please me, Anna, I saw her standing there, Boys, Misery, Chains, Ask me why,

SideB: Twist and shout, A taste of honey, Love me do, Do you want to know a secret, Baby it's you, There's a place, PS I love you,

Condition: VG/EX- (Cover/Disc)

COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for lightly worn corners, top, bottom, right-edge & spine. There're minor smudges on the surface of front, back & the rims of flaps. It has some minor scratches on the surface of front, with partial ring-wear on the back ( as usual with this cover ). Otherwise no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on each side. There're several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX". Though there're slight scuffs on the "inner-groove" of each side, they are not flaw, but just "misprint" made originally when it was pressed in factory. And the label of SideA is waving and partly stripped around the rim ( but not on that of SideB ). Then it totally rates "EX-".

OBI: FAIR, being taped in upper & lower portions of front & bottom. Supply-tag in the top of back is also taped on its bottom-rim.

INSERT: Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead flaps are attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER-BAG: VG, being lightly creased on its surface with light ring-crease. Otherwise no tear & split on edges.
