The Beatles Please Please Me LP. Very first mono issue, rare black and gold labels. First issue with Dick James Music Co publishing credits. Laminated Ernest J Day and Co Ltd sleeve.
Please read description carefully before bidding.
On offer a copy of the Beatles first album, this is not the greatest copy available but will make a nice collection filler until funds allow a better copy.!
Low start and no reserve must sell.
Record = Good visually many slight scratches – BUT DOES PLAY THROUGH OK without any skips or jumps! Some surface noise, occasional click here and there, plays better than it looks!

Black and Gold labels are quite faded, as I said before not the greatest copy
Has original “Use Emitex” sleeve, which is in general good shape although discoloured.
Laminated Ernest J Day and Co Ltd sleeve = Good
For some reason a previous owner has covered the sleeve in shrinkwrap, I am sure that that this could be removed. Rear of sleeve has tape along edges. The good news is that there are no major rips, tears or writing. Iconic Angus McBean photo on front. Some corner wear.
I wouldn’t normally bother selling a record in this condition, but this version is rare and getting more and more collectable. No reserve I will sell!

Mint The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover and any other items in perfect condition.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and any other items may have slight wear and or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear to cover, but no major defects.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Cover may be torn, stained and/or defaced.
