Description

Very rare 3rd pressing black/yellow label with extra 33 1/3 RPM on label next to matrix number. Stampers: side one 2GH, side two 1 2 RM. MT tax code on side one. Sleeve by Ernest J Day, front photo credited to Angus McBean at bottom far right of front cover of sleeve less than 5mm from edge 'A' of Angus starting under second letter 'S' in the word songs. Large mono top right corner. According to the RRPG there was approx only 5,000 copies made so more rare than black/gold copies.

Sleeve in good condition with wear and tear as shown in photos. Emitex inner sleeve excellent condition. Record labels in excellent condition with some spindle marks. MT tax code on side 1. Surface scratches as expected for a record this age but more noticeably on side 2 there is a mark that I can only describe as what looks like a cigarette burn (as shown in photo) this affects track 1 as it skips slightly but track 2 has skips and sticks and you need to push the stylus on although I only have a modern record player so with a proper player with a heavier stylus it might play through ok. There is also a skip on side 1 track 2. All this said the rest of the record plays and looks really good.

Grab yourself a rarity for your collection as not many of these around and although it's not a perfect copy it's still very much worth having
