Description

Up for auction here is the original, and very hard to find, red label issue of the Beatles 'Please Please Me/Ask Me Why' on the Parlophone label. Only the first pressings of this single were released on the red label (later ones were black) - apart from a much later re-issue.

This copy is guaranteed as the original first pressing.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side One: 7XCE 17217-1N           Side Two: 7XCE 17218-1N

This record is in truly excellent condition, and I have seen many such records described as mint or near mint, however, to be on the safe side I will describe it as EX+ on both sides. This is a no reserve auction with a low opening bid for such a rare record. Thanks for looking and good luck in the auction.
