Disc

Labels: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: EXCELLENT PLUS

A vibrant, pristine set with just slight ring mark on the 'A' side label but the 'B' side label is totally unmarked, bearing just some light spindle trails.

Visual: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: EXCELLENT PLUS

Both surfaces are incredibly clean and retain their 'as new' deep-gloss surfaces.
The only mark visible in strong direct daylight is a 1.5 cm hairline scratch on the 'A' side, but absolutely no further marks or wear.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: EXCELLENT

The sound on this initial pressing is remarkable and unmatched by any subsequent pressing. In fact, the inferior sounding LP version was dubbed from this 45's mastertape.
This copy has clearly received just some careful, light play and both sides play cleanly and clearly with no significant or major deterioration to the sound.
Apart from a touch or normal light background on the run-ins, both sides play without any background noise, groovewear distortion, clicks, pops or any major faults.

Cover: VERY GOOD

Some normal handling & storagewear but no major faults.
