Condition

Labels: 1. EXCELLENT  2. EXCELLENT -

A vivid, vibrant set with just some slight hole-wear on the 'Ask Me Why' label but no marks, writing or missing paper on either.

Visual: 1. VERY GOOD  2. VERY GOOD -

Both sides are bright and clean with the only significant marks in daylight being just two light 1cm scratches on 'Ask Me Why'. Careful inspection directly under halogen light reveals numerous wispy paper hairlines but no further major marks or wear to either side.

Audio: 1. EXCELLENT  2. VERY GOOD

Despite a moderate amount of play, the sound is surprisingly rich & clean with a clarity and presence missing from the LP version or indeed any other subsequent issue. Apart from some light background on 'Ask Me Why' which occurs cheifly in the breaks, there are no major faults anywhere on this respectable early copy.

Cover: EXCELLENT

Bright & crisp with just a catalogue number written in one of the upper corners, but no tears or splits.

  • Strict & grading under strong daylight & halogen light based upon UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
  • I play every record I sell at volume on high-end audio equipment and list all visual and audible faults.
  • Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
  • The listing photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
  • All records are packed strongly & securely in custom-made record maling boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
