1969 UK 7th PRESS *STEREO* LP
**WITHOUT 'SOLD IN UK..' TEXT**
The final incarnation of this iconic label was available for just a few months in late 1969 before the switch to the black and silver 'One EMI Box' design.
These late variants omit the 'Sold in U.K...' label text which was removed from all EMI product from August 1969.
This rare 1969 seventh stereo pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but still carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover bearing the 'small' stereo logo.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper numbers: 2/MA & 1/MG

'As new' looking surfaces bearing just few wispy hairlines from initial sleeve removal which are barely visible even under intense direct light.
The sound is perfect throughout, sounding as good as the day it left the shop in 1969.
There is no hiss, crackle, groovewear/loud passage distortion, clicks, jumps or repeats.
100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A bright and clean front panel retaining a high-gloss laminate bearing just a few very small 'thumbnail' creases but no major faults.
The corners are in excellent shape and the opening edge is clean and unworn.
The rear panel is super clean and white with no marks or writing.
There is a small (2cm) upper seam stress but all flipbacks are intact and undamaged and the spine is square, intact and readable.
