CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A bright & clean set with no touch-up, marks or writing.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Extremely clean & bright surfaces, both of which retain their deep-gloss 'as new' shines. Viewed in direct daylight the only significant mark on side 1 is a single light fingernail scuff line. Side 2 bears two 1cm scratches which are just feelable under my fingertips, together with a few other light marks but no further significant faults. Careful inspection under halogen light shows little more than a glossy 'rainbow' shines and some wispy paper hairlines but no major signs of wear. Thick, heavy vinyl which lies 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has received just careful play on good quality equipment as all tracks play without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. There is no groovewear distortion, background crackle on any track. Apart from one or two light clicks on tracks 3, 4 & 5 on side 2, I detected no further audible faults or wear.
Cover: FAIR/GOOD
A clean front panel but with wear to the corners and opening edge. There are 9cm splits to the upper and lower edges from the opening edges in and some flaking to the laminate on both seams. The rear has some moderate handling marks but no writing or missing text. Parts of the upper and lower flipbacks are missing but the spine is clean and unsplit.
- Strict grading under strong daylight & halogen light based upon UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I play every record I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks & all sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
- The listing photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are packed tightly in strong custom made record boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
