For sale is a rare Version I 'Introducing The Beatles' LP issued on VJ records in Jan. 1964.
This is the black & rainbow, oval label from Vee Jay. Record is super clean and retains lots of original shine & luster. Grades VG+ to VG++. Jacket shows some wear on front & back covers and at seams.
This version features the songs Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You. Due to copyright problems, these were deleted and later issues replaced these 2 songs with Ask Me Why and Please Please Me.
There are probably millions of counterfeit copies of this album in circulation but this one is authentic. Both the band’s name and album title are ABOVE the play-hole. Fakes have these split above and below the hole. A very nice 56 year old vintage Beatles record! Low list price and No reserve.
