Description

Highly sought after Beatles REVOLVER  (SW 2576, 1983 Reissue) Rainbow Label ~ NM
Cleaning out my late husband's record closet & have to offer for sale this 1983 reissue of  The Beatles's Revolver.

  • Of the two 1980s black Capitol rainbow-band labels, this one was pressed at Capitol's Jacksonville plant
  • Both sides stamped MASTERED BY CAPITOL
  • The vinyl is more firm than the other 1980s pressings
  • This is not one of the translucent discs
  • Comes with original rice paper sleeve
A colleague is rating this collection for me per the Goldmine system, mostly by visual inspection as I no longer have a turntable to sound test them. He prefers to under-grade than over-grade. Although I also understand that one person's VG+ is another person's VG, or vice versa. My husband was an audiophile & active listener rather than a collector & therefore valued the vinyl quality more than the covers. Putting a record on the turntable was a ritual, & the overall condition of these vinyl LPs shows his care & respect for the music.
However, this cover is in extremely good shape. We would call it Near Mint or even Mint if not for creasing & slight damage along the spine (see photos).

I am selling this As-Is/No Returns. Please ask me any questions you may have & I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
