The much sought after BEST sounding pressing of The Beatles' classic album RUBBER SOUL (IN EX++ (NM-) condition)!

Hazel Yarwood was the first female cutting engineer at EMI. Considered a master at her craft, she mainly cut classical music during her time there from 1947 to 1985. She was so incredible that EMI sent all of their disc mastering engineers from their German arm to Abbey Road to take lessons from her. She was brought in to help re-cut Rubber Soul after Harry Moss' attempt. THIS is the cut that finally did it. The -5/-5!!!

This pressing is becoming more and more scarce by the day. At this point, 60 years later, they are hardly ever seen in above VG+ condition.

Incredibly clean cover. Front is immaculate with only a bottom right corner rub to detract from it. The back covers for these are never seen in great condition because of the fragility of the flipbacks and the white colour that is easily stained. This copy is stunning, any staining is minimal and the flipbacks have been preserved gorgeously. One of the cleanest I've ever seen!

Labels are clean overall, some signs of spindle use.

Record is near immaculate! Insanely rare in this condition. No scratches etc, just some faint paper withdrawal signs. Play grades just as great, minimal wear and minimal surface noise. This is by far the definitive and best pressing of Rubber Soul, it sounds INCREDIBLE! YOU'VE NEVER HEARD RUBBER SOUL LIKE THIS IN YOUR LIFE!

Cleaning: All vinyl sold by me is carefully cared for and cleaned with one of the most effective processes in the field. Manually cleaned with a Disco Stat + Loricraft combination with a formulated distilled water and alcohol mixture, and a tergikleen + glycol surfactant. The process is then finished off with an Ultrasonic Degritter cleaning to blast out and rinse any other impurities that may still remain. This is one of the key factors into why the vinyl I sell on sounds so clean and lacks the surface noise you may get from a seller who doesn't go to the same lengths as this vinyl obssessed guy over here :)!

For INTERNATIONAL customers worried about tariffs: Customs forms are filled out with the Harmonisation Code "Vinyl Records: 8523.80.1000" and described as "Informational Materials: phonograph (vinyl) record” which should excuse any vinyl being subject to tariffs. Although I cannot accept liability if customs makes a mistake, the vast majority of my sales are international and everyone has been very happy with no complaints! (see my feedback)
