Description
THE BEATLES - 'RARITIES'
This UNPLAYED U.S. 1st press dates from initial March 1980 release and is on the rainbow Capitol Records label: SHAL-12060
It contains fifteen tracks which were either never released by Capitol Records or were alternate takes & mixes unavailable in the U.S., or tracks never issued on an American album.
Matrix numbers: SHAL-1-12060 G1 & SHAL-2-12060 G1
'MASTERED BY CAPITOL' is machine stamped in each run-out.
Vinyl weight: 126g
Housed in a genuine 1st pressing gatefold cover with slightly raised central image on the front panel.
There were two errors which signify genuine 1st pressing covers:- The phrase "I've got blisters on my fingers" heard at the end of 'Helter Skelter' was credited to 'Lennon' instead of Ringo and "Produced by George Martin" was omitted the back cover. Both errors were corrected on the second pressing.
Complete with its original printed picture inner-sleeve.
