Description
These items are from my personal collection, accumulated over a 55-year period. This lot contains both the records and the sleeves. The sleeves have been stored without the records since my original purchase at the time of their release. Records and sleeves are visually graded, by me, based on Goldmine grading standards. I try to grade conservatively.
The Beatles - I Feel Fine/She's a Woman (Capitol 5327) Sleeve Side A is graded VG - Some light wrinkling and inner label scuffing. Sleeve Side B is also graded G+ - Minor wrinkling. Inner label scuffing and red discoloration through the "FEEL FINE" text. The record is graded VG+. A couple of light scratches and some cleanable fingerprints.
The Beatles - Nowhere Man/What Goes On (Capitol 5587) Sleeve Side A is graded VG+, mainly due to some discoloration at the top edge of the sleeve and through the "GOES ON" text in the title. Sleeve Side B is graded VG+, due to the discoloration through the "ERE MAN" text in the title and some light discoloration in the middle of the top edge due to some tape residue. The record is graded VG, with a couple very light surface scratches and some cleanable fingerprinting. The A-side label has my name written in ball point pen.
The Beatles - We Can Work It Out/Day Tripper (Capitol 5555; West Coast Tabbed Sleeve) Sleeve Side A (without tab) is graded VG, with some minor wrinkling along the sleeve top edge, some blemishes around the record area and a white "scratch" in the lower left-hand corner. Sleeve Side B (with tab) is graded G+. There are minor blemishes on the sleeve face and some line "scribble" marks along the left-hand side of the sleeve, but no evidence of pencil lead or ball point pen ink. The record is graded VG, with a couple of cleanable fingerprints, some very light scratches, and some cleaning/soap residue (may also be cleanable).
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby (Capitol 5715) Sleeve Side A is graded VG+, due to a light fold running horizontally about 1/3rd from the sleeve top. Otherwise it would be graded Excellent to NM. Sleeve Side B is graded VG+ due to some discoloration next to the "Y" in the title and a light fold running horizontally about 1/3rd from the sleeve top. Otherwise, this side is Excellent. The record is graded VG+, with a few very light scratches and some cleanable fingerprints/blemishes.
The auction starting price is set to primarily cover postage and insurance. I believe in the free market system. My main interest is in getting these items into the hands of a serious collector. The law of supply and demand will take care of the rest.
Please note that I do NOT accept returns under any circumstances and ship ONLY to the US. If you have any questions about the characteristics of these records/sleeves that I have not mentioned, you must ask them prior to placing your bid. I currently have a 100% positive feedback response on eBay, so you can bid with confidence.
