Description
Two of the most iconic Beatles compilations, together the way they ought to be.
This lot includes the 1977 US Capitol reissues of The Beatles 1962–1966 (“Red Album”) and 1967–1970 (“Blue Album”) — four LPs covering the extraordinary run from “Love Me Do” through “The Long and Winding Road.”
Both gatefold jackets are exceptionally clean and present at NM, with strong color, clean interiors and very little evidence of handling.
1962–1966 — Vinyl VG++ / Jacket NM
Both records are extremely clean with excellent gloss and only minor signs of previous play.
1967–1970 — Vinyl VG++/VG+ / Jacket NM
Overall very clean set. Side 3 of Record 2 has several visible lines, shown clearly in the photos. These have been play-checked and do not affect playback. Graded conservatively because they are visually noticeable.
The photographs are of the actual records being offered and form part of the condition description.
A killer matched set for someone who wants vintage Capitol Beatles pressings that still look fantastic on the shelf and are ready to play.
