Greetings everybody!  Thank you very much for stopping by yet another of my ebay record auctions!  I appreciate that you took the time to click on my listing and have a look at my offering, and I hope that you will enjoy your stay.  Whether you are here to place a bid, to do some window shopping, to do some comparisons, or just because you wanted to see what all the hoopla (hoopla?  I still use "hoopla" in this day and age?  Yeesh, I am getting old)was about, I am glad to have you here.
This time up, I have a 1966 UK press LP recording on the Parlophone records label, label # PCS 7809 by those fab moptops, the Beatles.  This is the Stereo UK pressing of their "Revolver" LP.  If you have been to my listings before, you might know what's coming next.  If you haven't....well.....  Yours truly has never been a big Beatles fan.  Yeah (yeah yeah?), I was around when they were together, though I was a bit of a young'un.  To me, the Beatles were a crappy Sunday morning cartoon.  The only good Sunday cartoon back then was Bullwinkle!  I knew they were real people, my sister was into them.  But to me, I was more of a Monkees fan (woah, real people!) and then, when I started realizing that I liked music, I got really turned on to Paul Revere & the Raiders!  Yep, to me it was good ol' U.S. Garage Rock>Britpop. I know that having worked in a record store for 18 years now, to admit I am completely ambivalent towards the Fab Bunch (Pete Best rules!), I am indeed a musical heretic.  Bee-eye-gee whoop.  By the way, I work in a record store, yes, but what I list on ebay is my own stuff, ok?  Anyhoo, I was able to get this awhile ago when I came across a nice sized collection that I was able to get for a very nice price.  When I get a deal, I will pass it on in the form of a low opening bid.  Any higher than that opening bid, well, that's out of my control.  This LP is in pretty decent condition, but there is a very light scratch on side 1 of the disc.  This did not cause any ill effect when I gave it a spin, but it doesn't look pretty, and is practically screaming "your mileage may vary".  So, since my grading is visual-based, I am giving this my less-than-stellar V+ grading.  My gradings are considered non-standard, so if you are considering placing a bid, please do have a look at my grading scale.  It is the paragraph after this one, and it won't take you long to read, honest!  The cover is a typical UK/European kind of LP cover, glossy and the back cover is glued together with the flaps showing.  The cover does have some wear, as the outer lamination is peeling from the opening, and there is a small tear on the front cover by the opening in George's hair, right underneath Klaus Voorman's name.  There are some light dings and some discoloration as well.  If you need more pictures or description (really?  you like what i'm saying about these guys?  And people think I'm weird), I can and will be happy to provide.  If you have any questions or comments (i.e. "will you ever shut up?"  "what's wrong with you?"  "Teh Beatles roole, u jerk!"), please do send them along to me, and you will receive a reply.  And a nice one too.  I'm a jerk in my listings, not so much when it comes to customer contact!

In case anyone's wondering, here is my scale for grading.  M  Mint.  Reserved for still factory sealed.N- Near Mint, opened, no marks whatsoever.  E+, no marks other than a smudge that i'm too lazy to clean.  E, a light mark or 2, probably won't affect play. (why "probably"?  Because everyone claims their hearing is better than the next persons'.) E-, marks or wear that will cause a little audible affectation.  V+, wear that will cause some distortion of some type.  V, V-, P, well, you get the picture.

All items I sell will be sent with a copy of the sale form, printed up from eBay.  I will not "mark item as a gift", just so you can evade import rules.  The people at my post office know me, and they will check overseas packages for inspection.  I hope you will understand my position about this, my apologies if you are not able to comply.

Also, international bidders, the price listed for postage on my listings are for domestic mailing.  I wish I could send overseas for that price, but reality speaks different.  I place a fair price on all international postage.  Watch for the invoice if you win.

All items that are sent to a U.S. address will have delivery confirmation (at my cost) attached, as I have found that it helps...a lot!....to ensure that packages are truly en route to the customer.  This is for both of our sakes.  I will be using USPS "Media Mail" as my primary shipping method, however, if needed, and for an extra charge, I can ship with "Priority Mail", and if i can get away with it for the price, I really like 1st Class, but that's weight-dependent.

Oh yes, if you are the winning bidder, and you are in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I'm afraid you are going to have to fork over the 5% Virginia State Sales Tax.
