Description
The Beatles - Revolver
(Parlophone PMC 7009 UK LP 1966)
This is a UK original 1966 Mono LP pressing in very reasonable overall condition. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "E.J. Day". It comes with its original generic company plain paper inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co. Ltd..."and "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-2 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are RHM 1 and RPA 1 respectively. The sleeve states "Dr. Robert". Side 2's label states "Doctor Robert".
This is a genuine UK Mono 1966 Pressing in very reasonable overall condition. Playback is very good indeed.
Sleeve: There is some moderate fading to the spine area on the front & rear sleeve. There is some mild to more moderate fading to the white areas of the front & rear sleeve. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light, very mild or very minor rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on a few areas. This is not that noticeable. Apart from the fading, the spine is okay. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Very Good condition
Vinyl: There are some light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There is one light to very mild 6 cm surface hairline mark on Side 1. There is also a very light 10 cm surface hairline rub mark on Side 1. This doesn't notice too much under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild or very mild spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There are a few very light or very minor intermittent clicks at the start of "Love You To" on Side 1. These are not that noticeable.
Traceable shipping is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.
