Description
The Beatles - Revolver
(Parlophone PMC 7009 UK LP 1966)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. This is a "Decca" contract pressing. It has grooved Parlophone labels. This is more prominent on Side 2's label, less so on Side 1's label. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). This has a small "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "yellow & black" Parlophone labels. They have "The Gramophone Co.." and "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-2. The mother stampers are MG 4 and A 4. The "KT" tax code is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 2's label. The sleeve & label states "Dr. Robert". Decca contract pressings of this LP are not that common.
Sleeve: There is some light to mild overall fading to the "white" of the sleeve. There is some light ringwear on the rear, & some light rubbing wear at the sleeve opening. VG++ condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild sleeve rubs which can be viewed under a strong light. There are 6-7 light hairline marks. They vary in size from 0.5 cm to 8 cm. The majority of them are quite small. VG condition. The labels are clean but show mild to more moderater spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. Overall a very reasonable audio copy. The inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild wear but no seam splits.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
