Description

THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'

1969 UK **MONO** PRESSING LP

**WITHOUT 'SOLD IN UK..' LABEL TEXT**

The final incarnation of this iconic label was available for just a few months in late 1969 before the switch to the black and silver 'One EMI Box' design.
These late variants were noteable for the omission of the 'Sold in U.K...' label text which was removed from all EMI product from August 1969.

This rare 1969 mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
The side two label carries the 'Doctor Robert' spelling.

Housed in the late thin card, front laminated, 'tri-flipback' 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover.
Complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-2
Stamper numbers: 5,2,12/RTP & 5/RLO

There are no other audible faults.

All corners are clean and 'unbumped and the opening edge is sharp with light wear only but no tears or feathering.

The spine is clean and readable with no missing laminate and all flipbacks and seams are clean, intact and unsplit.
