1966 UK **1st MONO** PRESSING LP

WITH RARE 'REMIX' 11 OF 'TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS'

This rare first UK mono pressing includes the withdrawn 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' available only on this pressing.

Here is that rare 1966 first mono pressing on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The KT tax/price code is visible on the side two label.
The side two label carries the 'Dr Robert' spelling.

Housed in a front laminated 'tri-flipback' mono 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover.
Complete with original 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve.

Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS

Clean and bright surfaces which maintain a respectable deep gloss shine undulled by careless handling or abuse.
The only major visible mark is one light 'fingernail' scuff on side 1. The only other marks are some light sleeve removal hairlines under intense direct light.
This copy has been carefully handled and bears no deep or feelable scratches or marks anywhere.
Heavy, thick vinyl with sharp edges and 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Some groovewear is audible throughout which causes some distortion and light crackle.
However both run-ins and all bands play extremely quietly and the entire disc plays without hiss, clicks, pops, jumps or repeats

Cover: EXCELLENT

Clean, strong and unyellowed, this example bears just a few light creases to the front panel but no major wear.
All corners are in good shape and the opening edge is clean and sharp with no tears or feathering.
There is a small section along Ringo's chin where the laminate has been scuffed but is not split or torn.
The rear panel is clean and black with a hint of storagewear but no marks, writing or missing paper.
The spine is clean, square and readable with no missing laminate and all flipbacks and seams are strong, intact and unsplit.
