THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This beautiful 1st UK stereo pressing dates from August 1966 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in U.K...' text with a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper codes: 2/PG & 1/OL
Vinyl weight: 150g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Vibrant & unworn showing just a single spindle mark from stacking in the factory on the side 1 label only.
Audio/Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces retain all of their deep-gloss shine with no clouding or hazing issues. The disc appears 'as new' in strong daylight with the only blemish being a minute 2mm mark on track 6 on side 2. Closer examination beneath halogen light reveals just some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines and a sparking rainbow shine. Audibly, all tracks play cleanly with no tracce of any groove/playwear in either channel and just a touch of regular low-level vinyl background between tracks. The aforementioned mark causes 4/5 repeating ticks on 'Got To Get You Into My Life', but apart from this there is little to fault on this classic.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine example of this striking cover which has been stored all its life inside its original shop bag.
The front panel is pristine white and unyellowed and free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or bends.
All corners are sharp & square and both opening edges sharp & unworn.
The rear panel is clean & black with the only sign of wear being a hint of the disc's edge behind John's head.
There is a 2.5cm stress to the middle of the upper seam but the lower one and the spine are fully intact.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Clean & flat with minor storage bends but no writing, tears or seam splits.
