THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP
This barely played 1968 pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The side 2 label has the corrected 'Doctor Robert spelling.
There is no tax/price code present in the centre of either label.
Housed in a thinner card, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with an original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper codes: 3/HO & 2/PG

A superb set with just a few very faint spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
This extremely well cared for copy has immaculate & MINT deep-gloss surfaces which are totally 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss together with a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines on side 2, but no other blemishes or wear whatsoever.
Play: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has recieved just a small amount of extremely careful play on high-end equipment. As a result there is no significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults throughout.My careful play check detected just some light background on the run-ins and on 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here There & Everywhere' on side 1 and at the beginning of 'Good Day Sunshine'. However, this is very minor and does not detract form the enjoyment of the LP. There are certainly no clicks, pops or other such distractions anywhere.

EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example with a bright white which bears just a few spine creases but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant wear. There is some minor bruising to the corners but both opening edge are clean, sharp & undamaged. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, seams and the spine are smooth & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Crisp & white with slight storage wrinkling but no tears, splits or writing.
