  • RED VINYL in superb, near MINT condition.
  • MONO LP
  • Picture sleeve
  • Four page lyric insert
  • Fourteen tracks.
Rubber Soul remains a timeless favourite with its mix of classic rock, pop, soul, ballad and folk musical styles.
It was their sixth studio album in 1965, and markedly more sophisticated.
This Anniversary edition was a Japan only release, as a SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION ALBUM to commemorate their first and only Japanese tour in 1966. (THE BEATLES performed five Rock Concerts there in June/July 1966). Arguably one of the best albums of all time and a worthy choice for the anniversary reprise.   Opening with a cute, cheeky song, 'Drive My Car', with Ringo playing the cowbell.
Ringo maintains spectacular rhythm, keeping the beat spot on brilliantly, throughout the Album.
The widely popular love ballad 'Michelle' sung by Paul with a guitar solo played by George Harrison, was a number one hit for the Beatles in Belgium, France, Norway, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

An avant-garde touch is Harrison's imaginative addition of the sitar to 'Norwegian Wood'.
This was the first appearance of this exotic Indian string instrument on a Beatles Album.
Fourteen songs - all new and original material for the mid sixties.
TRACK LIST:
1. Drive My Car
2. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
3. You Won't See Me
4. Nowhere Man
5. Think For Yourself
6. The Word
7. Michelle

 8. What Goes On
 9. Girl
10. I'm Looking Through You
11. In My Life
12. Wait
13. If I Needed Someone
14. Run For Your Life
