UK 1965 -1/-1 1st *MONO* PRESSING
This EXCELLENT copy pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims on both labels
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with an original 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper inner-sleeve.

A very clean & bright set with a tiny area or missing paper to the side 1 centre-hole but label 2 is undamaged with even a small area of the silver centre marker still visible.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT 1. VERY GOOD +
This well looked-after copy displays extremely clean & glossy surfaces. Its only real blemish is a 1cm non-feelable hairline scratch on side 2 but there are no other significant marks or wear to either side in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no further marks or wear. Both sides of this heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This well-looked after copy has received just some careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. My careful playcheck at volume uncovered no evidence of groovewear distortion or any significant background noise - even on 'Michelle'. The only audible blemish I could find were a few light 'ticks' on the fadeout of 'Girl', but there there are no other such faults elsewhere on this cherished copy.

EXCELLENT
This superb example has been carefully & correctly stored in a non-smoking household for the past 44 years. The front panel laminate is rich & clean with just a slight ripple towards the lower right corner but no creasing, wrinkles, spine bends or even 'thumbnails whatsoever. All corners are perfectly clean, square & sharp. There are two faint water stains to the rear opening edges but the front is unblemished. The rear panel is otherwsie clean & white with no marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & undamaged & both seams and the spine are fully intact.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just some light storagewear but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
