CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

Bright & clean with a number of spindle trails around each centre hole but no major signs of wear.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Clean, bright & deep-gloss playing surfaces which in strong daylight show just a small handful of light surface marks on side 1 only but nothing I would call a scratche. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but definately no further marks or wear. Both sides of this extremely well-looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

The sound on this copy is totally unworn, clean, clear & dry having clearly only every received careful attention from top-quality equipment. My careful playcheck at volume revealed no traces of any groove or play wear on any track or channel and even the easily worn 'Michelle' played without the usual background noise or break-up. significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout which was warm and powerful with no signs of any annoying crackle or break up on any track. Apart from two light clicks on the band between tracks 2 & 3 on side 1, the entire album is free from any other such audible faults or distractions.

Cover

VERY GOOD +

A clean & strong example of heavy card stock with a rich and clean front panel bearing just a handful of 'thumbnails' and light spine bends. There is a little wear to the right corners & a small 5mm tear to the rear opening edge but no further significant faults. The rear panel is clean overall with just minor signs of age and a small rub in the lower right corner but no writing or other such blemishes. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are all smooth, unstressed and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

VERY GOOD

Some general light handling & storage creases, but no writing or seam splits.
