THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'
1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP
This superb 2nd stereo pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3075
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
There is no tax/price code present in the centre of the either label.
Housed in a thinner card front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with an original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 178-3 & YEX 179-3
Stamper codes: 1/GO & 1/H

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A vivid & vibrant set with just a few light spindle marks to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces of this extremely fine copy are MINT & totally unmarked in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a few insignificant light marks from inner-sleeve removal but certainly no scratches or any other form of significant or major wear.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy has received just some careful attention from high-end equipment and as a result all tracks play with no groove/play wear to either channel or any background noise on or between any song. The only blemish detected by my single play-check were two light clicks on the band between tracks 1 & 2 on side 1. Apart from that, there is nothing esle to fault audibly.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An very clean & strong example with a rich, high-gloss front panel laminate which bear just a small area of lifting towards the spine but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. There is slight shelfwear to the lower corners but all are free from any major bumps or bruises. The opening edges are sharp and straight with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel is clean & white overall with just a few faint fingermarks towards the opening edge but no writing or missing paper anywhere. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean, fully worded and undamaged..
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with a hint of age-toning but no splits, tears or writing.
