The Beatles
Rubber Soul (Parlophone, 1965)
UK MONO
ORIGINAL PRESSING
Cover: VG+: original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated sleeve has a very slight corner bend front lower left: extremely small tiny bit of corner wear front lower right and front top left: flaps on back show some age yellowing due to lamination. Otherwise the cover is strong and solid.
Record: EX-: side two has two extremely minor marks that DO NOT make a sound. This plays great! Side 1 has the "KT" tax stamp. Note the sideways pic I took of one side, to show the sheen of this LP. NOTE the -1 matrix for the UK mono version of Rubber Soul was the very rare and early "loud mix" (considered unbalanced with muddy bass and harsh vocal sound) which was quickly replaced by THIS pressing with the -4 matrix. There was no -2 or -3 matrix.
MATRIX INFO:
Side 1: XEX 579-4 6 GHR (NOTE it appears there is a crossed-out letter below these letters)
Side 2: XEX 580-4 5 GMD
The record has been placed in a MOFI sleeve; the original inner sleeve will be included.

GRADING
I grade vinyl very conservatively. I don't just sell records, I buy them for myself as well. The only records I will grade Mint are sealed records, and even then will note cover condition. I do not rate records Near Mint. The next-highest rating for me is Excellent.
Mint = sealed
EX = like new condition, little to no wear visible
EX- = may have a sleeve mark or two that does not make noise, or slight sign of handling, but still plays excellent
VG+ = no major flaws, looks good and plays great, occasional minor pop or click, used but not abused
VG = may have some marks that play but no skipping; may have some pops and clicks. Still a solid record to listen to.
