An early press (as evidenced by the -1 matrix on side 1) UK Parlophone copy of this , The Beatles ground breaking LP "Rubber Soul"! Just look at this track listing!! Some would call this pressing a "Loud Cut" copy, due to the -1 Matrix. I don't know enough about this term, nor have I done a volume comparison to a later pressing, so I simply don't know.

Description:
The Vinyl
The vinyl to both sides is Ex, with no scratches, or scuffs, and just the lightest of hairlines which are non-sounding. This is in quite remarkable condition. While this record has clearly been carefully handled, it has been played numerous times. As such, on playback, there is some crackle apparent in the run-ins and outs, and on the particularily quiet songs, such as "Michelle" and "Girl", but there are no pops, clicks, skips, or jumps. Plays through nicely. Crank it up!!
The Labels
The Black and Yellow Parlophone labels are both graded as Ex+ condition. Really nice and clean!! There is no writing, tearing, or fading to either side. All lettering is crisp and clear. There are some spindle traces to both sides, but very minor spindle hole wear. Truly fine labels.
The Sleeve
The rarer Ernest J. Day laminated sleeve Ex condition, with no writing, seam splits or fading. There is some very minor corner and opening edge wear, as well as 2 laminate creases on the front. The colors are vibrant and rich. The spine is great, with all lettering clear. The back is clean, with no writing or creasing. All flipbacks are intact, and solidly in place. All text is clear and clean. Aside from a corner bump/crease to the bottom right corner, there is little to fault. A truly great example of this sleeve.
The original Emitex inner sleeve is in Ex- condition. Still crisp, with minimal storage wrinkling. There is some age yellowing, and a small seam split (4 cm) on one side seam. Otherwise, a nice example.
While not a "NMint Final Collector" copy, this is an overall Excellent copy of this LP.
Bid with confidence and... Good Luck!!!
