WITH RAREST, HARDLY SEEN, EARLIEST FOURTH PROOF/PATENTS PENDING SLEEVE, NICE VINYL, COMPLETE WITH FLAME INNER AND UNUSED CUT-OUT!!

Released by Parlophone UK in 1967, this ORIGINAL UK Vinyl MONO LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim, With Sold in the UK…., and Made in Gt. Britain label text.

Both record labels are in FINE excellent condition. BRIGHT, CLEAN, UNDAMAGED record labels showing just some light centre spider trails to either side.

The official Side 1 Matrix: XEX 637-1, Side 2 Matrix: XEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers 6/RMT and Side 2 stampers: 4/ROG.
The embossed KT tax/price code is visible to the Side 2 record label.

Both sides of the vinyl disc are in NICE excellent condition, BRIGHT Vinyl, with no more than a few light surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches or scuffs.

Audio Quality: The album plays EXTREMELY WELL throughout the tracks without any skips or clicks.

The Vinyl Disc comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Issue Flame Pink and White inner bag printed ‘Made in Gt Britain Patents Applied For’ to the bottom right hand corner. The flame inner is a RESPECTABLE example, NO seam splits, handwriting or tearing, and just some inevitable light creasing and age discoloration.

….Together with an ORIGINAL 1st Issue UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut-Out, printed ‘Printed in England’, which is in FINE condition, NO tearing or handwriting.

…. And is protected in its RARELY SEEN, ORIGINAL FOURTH PROOF Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve.

Please note only VERY FEW of these RARE fourth proof sleeves exist – they are HARDLY SEEN - and were NEVER USED in Final Production. In fact these were some of the EARLIEST FIRST PRESS covers, with ‘FOURTH PROOF’ and ‘CATALOGUE/PRINT NUMBER’ printed to the inside top right flip back. The bottom of the reverse of the sleeve is also printed ‘PATENTS PENDING’, again RARELY seen on the majority of Sgt Pepper sleeves.

The Original First Issue Fourth Proof, LAMINATED Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve is a RESPECTABLE example. The front and reverse panels are in RESPECTABLE very good plus condition. GLOSSY Laminate, with only mild record indentation to the reverse, and only mild corner bruising to all four corners and a small half inch tear to the reverse panel on the opening edge. The inside of the Gatefold Sleeve is excellent. CLEAN and RESPECTABLE - both flip backs are in tact and the print ‘Fourth Proof’ and number ‘AR D1321’ clearly readable. The spine edge shows a little wear and tear (nothing major) and the wording 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' is clearly readable.

Only the second time we have offered a 4th Proof Sleeve in over six years, and a RARE Opportunity to add this RARITY to any Serious Beatles collection!
