NICE, COMPLETE all round example of The Beatles ICONIC Album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' released by Parlophone UK in 1967.
This the RARER FIRST ISSUE UK Parlophone **MONO** VINYL LP on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim With Sold in the UK…. and With Made in Gt. Britain label text.
The official stamped trail out groove matrixes are Side 1: XEX 637-1 and Side 2 Matrix: XEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers are 6/MAA and Side 2 stampers: 2/MDO.
The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
The Vinyl Disc comes in its ORIGINAL Flame Pink and White inner bag together with an ORIGINAL and UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut-Out.
The album is protected in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in excellent condition, DECENT labels showing spider trails around the centre of the record labels. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in very good condition and show light surface scratches, and a small scratch on the track ‘She’s Leaving Home’ that produces a light click. The front and reverse of the Original First Issue LAMINATED Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve are in STRONG near excellent condition. GLOSSY, DEEP, RICH COLOURED Laminate, both front back and the gatefold with a couple of light corner bruises to the top two corners. All the seams and the spine are Undamaged. The inside of the Gatefold is in excellent plus condition, still retains its DEEP GLOSS and no cracking to the inner spine edge. The Original Sgt Pepper Cut-Out is COMPLETE and in near mint UNUSED condition. The Original Flame Coloured Inner Bag is in very good example, no handwriting, but does have seam splits to the two sides and bottom.
Both sides play EXTREMELY WELL throughout, with light background crackle, but NO skips.
