EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN THIS ALL ROUND TOP CONDITION, UK **MONO** FIRST ISSUE, RICH, VIBRANT DEEP COLOURS TO THIS EXTREMELY GLOSSY LAMINATED SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH UNUSED CUT OUT AND FLAME INNER BAG!!
This true NEAR MINT Original UK FIRST ISSUE MONO Vinyl LP for The Beatles ICONIC Album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' was released by Parlophone UK in 1967.
The Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd, with Sold in UK… and with Made in Gt Britain label text.
The official side 1 matrix is XEX 637-1. Side 2: XEX 638-1. Side 1 stampers are: 4PL. Side 2: 3/PD.
The Vinyl LP comes in its VERY NICE ORIGINAL ‘Made in Great Britain’, FLAME inner bag.
The album is protected in one of the FINEST Mono Sgt Pepper sleeves that we have offered in a long while. This ORIGINAL Fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve, with internal Flip Backs within the Gatefold, is printed 'mono' to the top of the reverse.
To complete this FABULOUS album package, is an ORIGINAL, UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut Out.
Both Record labels are in TRUE near mint condition, a Extraordinary FRESH, UNWORN set of record labels, with only a couple of tiny, centre spider trails to the labels, both sides of the Vinyl Disc are, without question, in near mint condition. The Vinyl playing surfaces look STUNNING In our opinion the album could only have been played a few times at most, with only a couple of barely visible, inaudible, ‘bag rash’ wispy hairlines to either side, caused simply by taking the record in and out of the inner bag. There are NO scratches or scuffs visible to either side of the disc.
The Laminated Gatefold Sleeve has to be one of the FINEST Sleeves that we have offered in near mint condition. The FRESH front panel displays the most AMAZING RICH Sgt Pepper colours, NO dulling or worn areas, and MIRROR GLOSS Laminate to set off the VIVID colours BEAUTIFULLY, The inside of the Gatefold is mint, like NEW. The opening edge is STRAIGHT and UNWORN. All four corners are in great shape, no bending, and only the tiniest, minimal bruises to the bottom two corners. The reverse panel of the sleeve matches the quality of the front panel in near mint condition. The Unused Sgt Pepper Cut Out is mint, perfectly square and flat, no bent corners, and just a little laminate flacking to the spine edge. The Flame Inner Bag is in FABULOUS condition, with NO tearing just a small half inch seam split to the bottom seam, and only a little mild inevitable creasing.
I have played the album once carefully throughout - it sounds SUPERB. Pure, RICH, POWERFUL MONO sound quality through ALL the tracks, with NO FAULTS whatsoever.
MONO Versions of probably the most talked about Beatles album of all time are now VIRTUALLY EXTINCT. A TOP all round example, which could not disappoint any collector!
