THE BEATLES: 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' – SUPER RARE 1963 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE **STEREO** ORIGINAL VINYL LP ON THE BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE LABEL - PCS 3042
In extremely **IMPRESSIVE** condition, this SUPER RARE 1963 Original UK **STEREO** Vinyl LP is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'The Parlophone Co Ltd' label rim and with 'Recording first published 1963' label text. The side 1 matrix is YEX 94-1, the side 1 stampers are '1', 'GR'. The side 2 Matrix is YEX 95-1 and the side 2 stampers: '1', 'M'.
This early pressing comes in its original poly lined Emitex inner bag and the album is housed in its Original Laminated Ernest J Day Flip Back Sleeve, featuring the large stereo wording printed on the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
Both sides of the record labels and both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in SUPER **mint minus** condition - the playing quality matches that of the Visual Grading. Having played the album, it sounds SUPERB - there are NO skips NO jumps, and it is extremely quiet between tracks, and during the quieter tracks such as 'Baby It's You' and 'A Taste of Honey'. The album retains that wonderful early stereo sound. The EJ Day Laminated sleeve is also in extremely respectable condition, and is graded in excellent condition. The front of the sleeve is bright, unfaded and very glossy, retaining its vivid colours. The reverse of the sleeve is very bright, white and clean, showing a small piece missing from the top flip-back (see scan). The spine and the edges of the sleeve are firm and square, showing only very minimal wear to the bottom edge, but again this is really minimal.
In our Professional Opinion, this 1963 ORIGINAL UK Black & Yellow Parlophone STEREO LP is one of the **HARDEST TO FIND** Beatles ORIGINAL albums and seldom seen in stock now days - not to be missed – An IMPRESSIVE example and an extremely significant Beatles album!
