Beatles Seventh Christmas Record UK 1969 Sleeve, Flexi & RARE Freda Kelly Letter
Official UK Fan Club “SEVENTH CHRISTMAS RECORD“ complete with RARE & LITTLE-KNOWN ORIGINAL FREDA KELLY APOLOGY LETTER.
As is now well known these Fan Club Xmas Flexi Discs were not available in record retail outlets as they were only available to ONLY to Fan Club members and sent out free towards the end of December 1969, Although some were not sent out until February 1970 due to a full box of members address labels being lost and having to be reprinted.
Please read the entire description for condition of all the contents.
Label: Lyntone Country: Great Britain Catalog number: LYN 1970/71 Fidelity: Mono Matrix numbers (A-side): LYN 1970-1L Matrix numbers (B-side): LYN 1971-1L
Condition:
The disc label is in beautiful condition with absolutely superb printing which is in totally unfaded, remarkable condition. The flexi under close inspection under bright light surface appears unplayed which is consistent with the condition of the printed label. Mint minus (M-) condition.
The sleeve is in beautiful condition sleeve with all the colors still fresh and bright, It shows just one very small thumbnail crease at the front left bottom corner. All four corners are still nice and sharp, the rear panel is free from any stickers with tight, flat flipbacks. It has a very small corner crease. It grades near mint (NM) condition.
The Freda Kelly little Known ULTRA RARE 2 page Typed Insert is in overall excellent plus (EX+) condition. This little known 2 page letter was hastily produced by the UK Fan Club to deal with an explanation as to why some of the 7th Fan Club flexis discs were not sent out until as late as February 1970. This was due to a full box of Fan Club members address labels getting lost in the Christmas post between the printers and Freda's Fan Club Office in Liverpool which necessitated them having to be re-ordered after Christmas. This is clearly explained in the first couple of paragraphs of the 2 page typed letter which goes on to describe other Beatles news etc. Both pages are approximately 13 inches x 8 inches and are both in superb condition.
