With stunning Audio!!!!!
1st UK MONO pressing of this legendary album!!!!
The cover
The laminated Garrod and Lofthouse cover is in Excellent conditions, with very very light rubs (please see the pictures).
The SGT Peppers cut – out insert is in EX condition too, no creases, no tears
On the back cover there’s the sticker of the shop where it was bought.
The red and white sleeve has a Repaired Bottom Seam
The vinyl
Matrix numbers are:
Side 1: XEX 637 – 1 stamper is 6 AGA
Side 2: XEX 638 – 1 stamper is 3 RLM
The records looks in very good conditions, obviously, after 43 years there are some airlines (most of them are sleeve removal marks) and very light lines which doesn’t affect playing at all.
I have carefully played this track for track, on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge prior to listing!
The audio is graded very, very near mint throughout! It is quite obvious that from the moment that the needle hits the playing surface that this vinyl has had just minimal play in my opinion. (no) loud clicks or pops certainly (no) skips or jumps, any static or isolated static crackle was extremely minimal and far and fewer between, very minor indeed THE AUDIO IS CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT!!
None of the normal horrible surface noise can be heard constantly during the audio, so common on this pressing! and quite unbelievable for this earliest and most collectable, being mono, 43 year old Beatles album!
Audio is graded at least excellent plus to very, very near mint on my systems!
Please note! Remember that this is a genuine 43 year old vinyl that originally have been played on a 43 year old system! There could be some isolated static crackle or tick perhaps only heard in an isolated quiet places (certainly not consistant through out the audio)! This may be caused by dirt or dust build up over the years of laying dormant in my opinion! A constant clean is recomended before each play! ,, this would drastically reduce this and would greatly improve the audio quality!
