Beatles Sgt. Pepper - Nimbus Supercut Hi-Fi!
Mega-Rare limited audiophile issue from
Practical Hi-Fi Magazine (UK) from the early 1980’s!!!!!
All-round near Mint copy of this out-of-print mega-rare Audiophile LP, which is a reissue of the original Parlophone recording PCS-7027. Gatefold and complete with insert. The sleeve is in NM condition, complete with Practical Hi-Fi Supercut Nimbus records sticker. For the uninitiated, this series of LP reissues were very limited, and only available via mail-order to HI FI Today readers. Original UK covers and labels were used; the only identifying signs are the sticker on the cover and the dead wax matrix codes - 'NIMBUS ENGLAND' , which include the very important "Nimbus records" stamp. The LP looks NM condition. Probably better actually - I can't see a single mark anywhere at all on the vinyl - it's beautifully shiny and clean. I like to grade cautiously. LP mastered & pressed in the UK by Nimbus. Insert is the Sgt. Pepper cutouts sheet. These pressings are known for their great audiophile pressing sound quality. This is FAR RARER than the easily available Mobile Fidelity reissue & may in fact be one of the rarest audiophile LPs around.

On offer here is a very rare LP , especially in this condition! It's by the Beatles called 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and is an original 1984 UK pressing on the Nimbus/Parlophone label! This LP is seriously rare and simply impossible to find!
This is the Nimbus Supercut pressing - and was only available by mail-order only from Practical Hi-Fi' magazine! Only a few hundred were ever made - and there is absolutely no doubting that this is the rarest Sgt Pepper LP in existence today!
It has the defining 'Nimbus England' stamp on the run off grooves and the all-important 'Nimbus Supercut' sticker on the cover front! But what makes this LP special (& even rarer still) is that it is in great near mint condition.
The record labels and the vinyl are in great condition. It is very clear that this record may never have been played. The original green insert is in perfect uncreased condition. The gatefold cover has no edge wear, no spine wear, no ringwear, the cover is very flat looking , and has no writing! The back top edge of the gatefold has a small half-inch of white just peeking through the red. Also , on the back opening edge of the sleeve a very small clip in the cardboard. But I'm maybe being over-fussy. The mega rare nimbus sticker is in superb condition , with just a small wrinkle at bottom right! It overlaps the side opening a little. The opening edges are straight with no feathering! Even the inside of the cover is in awesome condition with no writing, no grubbiness, and no yellowing! The cover must grade mint minus if not better! This LP is seriously rare and virtually impossible to find like this - so don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
