1967 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This outstanding 1967 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo gatefold cover with internal flipbacks with 9mm W I D E spine.
Complete with original red & white designer inner-sleeve and cut-out sheet.
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1
Stamper numbers: 1/H & 1/GA
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides appear MINT & totally unmarked viewed in strong daylight, with no groove-whitening or dulling to either surface from improper storage.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but absolutely no other marks or wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has received just a few very careful plays on top quality equipment & sounds 100% 'as new' throughout.
There is no trace of any background crackle or groovewear distortion on any track.
Even the easily damaged 'She's Leaving Home' & final fade on 'Day In The Life' play perfectly without any interference, distortion or crackle.
Both run-ins play silently and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other audible fault anywhere on this outstanding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
The high-gloss laminate is glossy & completely unscratched all-round with not even any 'thumbnail' creases or disc impression to any panel.
Apart from a small bruise to the lower right corner, all are undamaged and the opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering.
The inside is 'as new' and all seams are strong, intact & with no stresses or splits.
The spine is clean & square with justa slight pinch towards the upper corner but it is fully lamianted & worded.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Light storage wrinkles and a single small age-spot but no splits or tears.
