Description:

Embark on a psychedelic journey with this 1st UK stereo pressing of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles. Released on 26th May 1967, this sought-after edition features the original “Patents Pending” 1st press sleeve but is also a wide spine version prized by collectors for its superior look when shelved. The vinyl, graded as Near Mint (NM), promises an outstanding listening experience. The sleeve, also in fantastic Excellent Plus (EX+) condition, comes complete with the original swirl inner sleeve and Peter Blake cutouts insert, making it a comprehensive collector's package.

The audio is fantastic. This copy has clearly only been played a handful of times on good quality equipment. There is no sign of groove/play wear. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides. You will not need to look for another copy of this fantastic record.


Sleeve Grade: EXCELLENT+
The sleeve retains its original gloss without hint of ring wear. All panels maintain bright colours and are clean without discolouration. All corners are crisp and sharp and spine fully readable. Superb.
