Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heats Club Band LP Orig Mono MAS-2653 Insert Inner

Really excellent copy of a just-turned 50-year-old classic.

Jacket…VG+, with relatively light general wear to paste-on sleeve. Seams and corners are in super nice shape, with a touch of rubbing to bottom spine corner. There is some very faint staining and/or foxing along top of jacket, which is literally mirrored on the inside gatefold. Barely perceptible on front jacket, not evident at all on back, obvious on inner gatefold. Pretty, pretty nice.

Inner…EX to NM. I mean, there is some very, very light creasing, but this is a pretty killer and completely intact example of the psychedelic flames inner that was only available with first pressings (both mono and stereo).

Insert…EX to NM. See above. Original cardstock cut-outs insert, heavier than the paper copies found in later issues. Sweet.

Vinyl…VG+, with signs of light wear displayed on first band of each side, couple of light play scuffs. Otherwise, very clean. Displays the requisite crackle between tracks and during quieter passages, but generally plays strongly. Labels are clean, with no spindling whatsoever.

Matrices…don’t normally notate an actual section for matrices, but this is the f’n Beatles, so here ya go…Side 1 deadwax inscription is MAS-1-2653-G-12; Side 2 is MAS-2-2653-F-11.
