THE classic Beatles album to have and THE version (MONO of course) to have it in

Rare, 1st press MONO album in stunning condition, 100% complete in fresh unfaded glory and lovely insert.

Bought on the day of release and not been sold again since it first left that record shop 42 years ago. Being very regretfully sold due to house move.

A quick walk through of this wonderful album

Gatefold sleeve - Outside
Very fresh Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve with the original bright colours to meet your eye.
no creases or sun fade to spine (there are some very yellowed examples out there)
Minor rubbing to top and bottom of spine
Back includes the "Long play 33 1/2 r.p.m PMC 7027 MONO" in top right corner
Laminate fold crease on back left bottom

Gatefold sleeve - Inside
Bright and fresh and unmarked
Inner spine fold creases as you would expect

Over all in excellent condition

Insert
As printed and again very fresh, original and unspoilt
No tears or creases
Small mark in left hand bottom corner and minor fold where it has been too close to gatefold spine once

Vinyl
The disc in in excellent condition.
Both sides play beautifully (the odd click only no jumps or skips)
The deep glossy black vinyl looks positively new with only faint spider trails on each side (record cloth i guess).

Matrix number - XEX.637, vinyl stamp - XEX 737-1
Side 2
Matrix number - XEX.638, vinyl stamp - XEX 638-1

Labels are both in good condition with side 2 showing a small mark (please check photo) so I would personally believe these to be VG+

The die cast sleeve is the only item which has been touched by the original owner and that is to carefully write the day that they bought the album (30th May 1967). Other than that it is untouched. It has a worn crease at the bottom where the record has pressed against the crease to create a hole.

This is the first time this has come on the market since it left the original record shop to be loved and coo'd over ever since. We it not for the house move and the crazy costs I would not be parting with this as I know I won't be able to get hold of one of these again. I am not a dealer but I have tried to give you a fair description of everything and photos so you can check for yourself. If you feel I have missed anything please let me know and I will come back to you as soon as possible.
