Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright & clean pair with a small number of spindle trails and slight wear to each centre hole, but no writing or major damage.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Clean, bright & glossy playing surfaces which apart from a single light surface mark towards the edge on side 1 and an almost unnoticeable 3mm scratch at the beginning of track 2, is otherwise unblemished in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Play: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has been carefully played on good equipment only and my single careful play-check found there to be no evidence of any groove/play wear or background interference throughout. The easily worn 'She's Leaving Home' plays superbly and without any crackle or break-up. The only audible distraction I detected were 4 light clicks at the beginning of 'With A Little Help From My Friends' caused by the aforementioned scratch. Apart form that, there is little else to fault on this highly respectable sounding rare pressing.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A strong and firm example with minor age/storage wear but no major faults. The front panel is clean & glossy with just two small 'thumbnails' and a hint of storage rubbing along the upper blue area. There is slight bruising to the upper corners but no significant wear to the lower two or indeed to any opening edge. The rear panel is just as glossy with a faint disc impression but no 'thumbnails' or other blemishes. The inside is immaculate and unworn & the spine is fully laminated & worded. All seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & uncreased with minor age toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
Cut-out sheet: NEAR MINT
