Description
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Capitol (SMAS-2653) a 1976 reissue Gate fold cover with colorful 'Sgt. Pepper cut outs' Winchester pressing (run out side one: SMAS-1-2653 F36 #2 MASTERED BY CAPITOL) This copy, from my record vault, was hardly ever played. Super clean. VINYL is Excellent+. Close to near mint, but not quite. Under bright light, I spot some superficial sleeve scuffs. Few and faint. No scratches. Both sides have fantastic 'like new' shines. Both sides have vibrant orange Capitol labels. This copy was only played once, perhaps twice. COVER is Excellent+. It remains 'tight'. Gate fold cover. Very vibrant colors. Nostalgic and iconic images. Both front and back maintain a gloss. No split seams. Clean spine. No creases. It shows little to no surface wear. It does show some light ring wear. The gate fold opens to a colorful and glossy image of the Beatles. The Sgt. Pepper cut out's remain in superb, near mint condition and are neatly tucked inside. Classic Beatles. Iconic, landmark release. A super clean, nearly forty five year old vinyl reissue.
