Description
Wow! How cool is this? A SIGNED Beatles bootleg by none other than John Lennon! This bootleg is a double album produced in the late 1970's called "The Black Album". It was made to mimic the official Beatles "White Album" as the cover and inner covers are in the White Album style, pictures and all! This 2 record set contains all the outtakes from the "Let It Be" sessions of January 1969. Here are some of the outtakes included: Get Back, Two Of Us, All Things Must Pass, Let It Be, House Of The Rising Sun, She Said She Said, For You Blue plus dozens more, 4 sides worth! The last time I owned a record player it played flawlessly although that was a good 8 years ago.
The story is this album was owned by a New York City DJ that collected Beatle's albums and bootlegs. John was a guest on his show in NYC in the late summer of 1980 and the DJ had him autograph the inside cover with a white marker that radio stations used to use to mark tapes and carts as it was the only thing that would show up on the black cover! Anyway, the record was given to me by an employee of the station after the DJ left the station back in the middle 90's. Now it could be yours! I have had a few signed Beatle's albums through the years but this one may be my favorite as it was signed so close to his death. Buyer pays all shipping costs plus any insurance. Please ask questions prior to bidding, thanks! I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY CREDIT or DEBIT CARDS, do not try to pay with them, I will not accept them, thanks!
