1967 UK 1st PRESSING 45
**NEAR MINT PICTURE COVER**
This superb UK 1967 1st pressing is on the silver & black Parlophone label: R 5570
Both carry the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the 'Strawberry Field Forever' label.
Housed in its original limited edition, thin-paper colour picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2
Stamper numbers: 5/OT & 3/ML
Picture Sleeve: NEAR MINT
Pristine white and unmarked & with fully intact seams & undamaged opening edges.
Apart from an unavoidable faint disc impression, this is a ner perfect perfect 'as new' example.

Both sides are clean, glossy and bright and are unmarked when viewed in daylight.
Close inspection daylight & directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just some light paper/sleeve removal hairlines but no further marks or wear.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This copy has recieved just some light careful play on good quality equipment and plays without any significant or major audible wear.
In fact, apart from some normal minor background on each run-in, there is little to fault on either side.
