THE BEATLES - THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD / FOR YOU BLUE - 7" - 45RPM - SINGLE - APPLE 2832 - FIRST PRESSING - RELEASED: MAY 11th, 1970.
APPLE LABEL WITH "Mfd. by Apple" RIM PRINT ON THE SLICED SIDE OF THE LABEL. A SIDE TITLE IS IN THE UPPER LEFT SIDE OF THE SLICED LABEL. STRAIGHT CUT EAST COAST VERSION OF PICTURE SLEEVE.
RECORD GRADING: VG+
NICE GLOSS. MILD CRACKLE. PHIL SPECTOR'S "WALL OF SOUND" COMES THROUGH FULL AND CLEAR. DRUMS AND BASS REALLY PUNCH ON "FOR YOU BLUE" BETTER THAN ANY DIGITAL VERSION I'VE EVER HEARD AND I'VE HEARD THEM ALL. NO SKIPS OR POPS.
SLEEVE GRADING: VG+
MILD CREASES. A SMALL STAIN. SOME SMALL WRITING INSIDE THE COVER THAT'S HARD TO NOTICE (SEE PHOTO). MILD AGE AND RING WEAR. THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A LOT OF ISSUES BUT THIS SLEEVE STILL LOOKS GOOD. THE PROBLEMS ARE ALL MINOR COMPARED TO FINDING A SWEET COPY OF THIS FIRST PRESSING PICTURE SLEEVE.
HAND ETCHED MATRIX NUMBERS:
"PHIL & RONNIE" S-45-47181-Z1 & S-45-47182-Z1
