The Beatles My Bonnie 1962 Very Rare First UK Press - Mint
Description:
This is the first appearance of The Beatles on any record in the UK. It was released in 1962, long before The Beatles were known beyond Liverpool. They backed Tony Sheridan in Hamburg for this and several other tracks.
It is distinguished from the later re-issue by the '&' sign and the font used.
I added this item to the collector's website 'your-collection'. It's a Dotcom site where you can zoom in to the images below and see them at a much higher resolution. Condition Description:
Mint condition vinyl. Not a mark on it. Not even hairline marks. It's probably only been played once or twice as most Beatles fans would have been disappointed to hear this totally non-Beatles style track. I met Astrid Kirchherr years ago and she told me that The Beatles were thrilled to be making a record but hated the songs and arrangements that they had to do.
I've had many examples of My Bonnie, probably around 30, including this rare version (2 previous mint copies over the last 30 years) and I have never heard any play without crackle. This one is no exception. There are no ticks or pops but it does play with the characteristic bacon and eggs cooking in the background.

I'll ship to anywhere in which the item can be tracked door-to-door. Talk to me about foreign charges and any worries you have about the extra charges. I won't ship to Italy because there are so many horror stories of items going missing in transit and there being no tracking. Lots of people have ended up losing out by having to refund for items.
