Description
I am selling more early and uncommon Beatles LPs as I try to downsize my vinyl collection. So, please check my other auctions, too.
In this auction:
· “THIS IS WHERE IT STARTED” LP by The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and the Titans
· This LP is Metro Records MS-563.
· It was issued for distribution in Canada by Quality Records Limited in Toronto, Ontario.
· This LP title was issued in MONO (monaural) and in Electronically Enhanced for Reproduction in STEREO.
· The LP in this auction is the RARE (Electronically Enhanced for Reproduction) STEREO PRESSING. Stereo copies of this LP are definitely tough to find!
· This LP was released August 15, 1966.
· This is a repackage of the MGM album “The Beatles With Tony Sheridan And Their Guests” (in a green cover that was originally issued in February, 1964) less 2 songs by the Titans.
· Please refer to the labels for listing of the tracks on this LP.
· Here is a pressing of EARLY Beatles’ material when ALL of the record labels (except Capitol Records, of course) were trying to find, gain the rights to and release any and every recording ever made by The Beatles!
· The VINYL is in NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION with just a few very light/slight surface hairlines and lots of gloss!
· The COVER is in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT CONDITION and STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The corners are nice and sharp! (It’s so nice that it’s hard to believe that it is more than 50 years old!)
It’s an EXCEPTIONALLY NICE COPY of this HARD-TO-FIND Metro Records STEREO PRESSING to add to your Beatles vinyl collection.
FYI: For grading I used the COVER/SLEEVE GRADES and RECORD GRADES listed and described on page 8 of the Price Guide for the Beatles American Records. These are Poor (PR), Fair (FR), Good Minus (G-), Good (G), Good Plus (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. And please check my other auctions for more items you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping on auction items that finish the same weekend. Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to a U.S. address via media mail with tracking.
