After 30 years of collecting records/mostly Beatles, baseball cards & coins...I am liquidating my collection...It breaks my heart. Some of these things that I will be listing vary from "fairly rare" to you "may never see another one again!"
This is a near mint copy of the Top of The Pop's Capitol Promo. There is just a slight hairline touch of wear across the front about an inch probably not seen in the picture, maybe even a factory defect. Both sides have alternate Yesterday and Today cover pictures. The one side has an alternate Butcher cover where there aren't any baby dolls , just hacked up meat and human teeth on Paul's arm. The other side has the alternate blue trunk cover. The story behind this record if I remember correctly is it was an infringement on Capitol's Yesterday and Today Album by Top of the Pop's and never approved by them. Even though it say's Capitol on it. Which makes it even more interesting. I see some of them on here sold as Capitol Promo's but they're really not.. I think it makes it even more collectable. This one is as nice as I've seen,
