THE BEATLES - 'TWIST & SHOUT'
UK 1964 PRESSING 4-TRACK EP
This scarce 1964 2nd pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8882
Track 1 on the side 2 label is misspelt as 'Do You Want A Know A Secret'
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the center of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 762-2N & 7TCE 763-1N
Stamper codes: 3/ROM & 6/AAG
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unworn set with just a handful of tiny spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean & bright playing surfaces which display just one noticeable light surface mark in strong daylight but no scratches and just harmless wispy paper-type hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: EXCELLENT
Always a great sounding EP, & this copy is no exception. The sound is clean, clear & powerful with no groove/play wear distortion on any track. Apart from a touch of normal light background between songs, there is little else to fault here.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A clean & strong example with some lift to the laminate in the lower right corner but no creasing or any other significant wear. The rear panel is clean overall with the only blemish being an erased number on the upper flipback.
