THE BEATLES: 'WITH THE BEATLES' – THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO VINYL LP - PMC 1206 - IN RARE ERNEST J DAY LAMINATED FLIP BACK SLEEVE
This is a GENUINE OPPORTUNITY to purchase an ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO pressing of The Beatles second UK Album ‘With The Beatles’ with the Record Labels and Vinyl disc in **mint** condition. This STUNNING Vinyl LP comes in the RARE, and not often seen, early ERNEST J DAY Laminated Flip Back Sleeve!
The stamped Matrixes in the trail out grooves are as follows: Side 1: XEX 447-7N, Side 2:XEX 448-7N. The official stampers are: Side 1: ‘1’, ‘0’, ‘GTG’, and side 2: ‘1’, ‘5’,.’RGP’. The embossed 'KT' tax code is clearly visible on the centre of the side 2 record label.
The HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl LP is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd' label rim in upper case, with 'Recording first published 1963' and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text on both sides of the label. The Vinyl Disc comes in its original Lined Emitex Inner Bag and is housed in a STUNNING Laminated ERNEST J DAY Flip Back Sleeve.
The condition of the album and sleeve are as follows: Both sides of the Record Labels and both sides of the Vinyl Disc are, without hesitation, in **mint** condition – there is no evidence of play to the record labels – they are totally undamaged, unfaded, with NO spider marks – THIS IS QUITE REMARKABLE. The Heavyweight Vinyl is GLEAMING, retaining that just pressed look – it really looks NEW. The album plays **MINT** – the playing quality matching that of the Visual grading – the album plays SUPERBLY with NO skips, NO jumps, NO pops, NO clicks and NO background noise – This is a SENSATIONAL Smooth Play! The Laminated Ernest J Day sleeve is very accurately graded in CRISP excellent plus condition. The Sleeve is Fresh and Bright – the colours are unfaded, the laminate extremely glossy, with a PERFECT spine. The gate edge sits very FLAT, demonstrating that the record has not regularly been taken in and out of the sleeve. There are just a couple of very tiny bumps to the top and bottom gate edge corners – these are really minimal and we are making a critical assessment. The reverse of the sleeve is clean, firm and very WHITE. There is a very small and light stain to the bottom of the gate edge on the reverse of the sleeve, and just a little light laminate pinching to the top and bottom fold over flaps, but again this is minimal, and most would not mention it. The Lined Emitex inner bag is in CRISP and WHITE near mint condition, showing only the lightest of creasing, but certainly no handwriting or tearing.
Accurately described and graded, in our Professional opinion, it would be hard to find a better VINYL example of this very early and ORIGINAL UK Beatles Mono album, and harder still to match the SUPERB playing quality ! – A TOP INVESTMENT QUALITY example – hard to believe that it has survived in this condition for over 40 years!
